Video: Five Things You Didn’t Know About Bobby Lashley

This right here, is domination. The Monday Night Raw after WrestleMania 34 was similar to a lot of other versions of the same night. There were some major storyline developments and matches being set up for the future, but the big deal is often the names that debut. This year was no difference as a host of names showed up, either from NXT or from outside the promotion, at least one of which was making his return after a very long absence. That would be Bobby Lashley, and WWE wants to get you up to speed on him.

WWE has posted a new video looking at five things you didn’t know about Lashley. The list looks at a variety of facts about Lashley, mainly focusing on past accomplishments and things he’d done in WWE over his previous run in the promotion. Lashley won the ECW Title on two occasions, before leaving the company to pursue a mixed martial arts career and appearing in TNA/Impact Wrestling in two different stints, where he became a four time World Champion.

Opinion: Lashley coming back is an interesting development as he has a lot of potential, but there’s only so much he can do at his age (he’ll be forty two years old in July). There’s a legitimate chance at seeing him face Brock Lesnar somewhere down the line and the natural story of Lesnar facing someone so similar to himself would be rather interesting. I’m not sure how long Lashley is going to last, but at least we could be in for some fun stuff while he’s still around.
