There are multiple sides to everything. We’re coming up on WrestleMania 35 and there’s a clear cut main event….in theory. For months, it has been assumed that the Raw Women’s Title match will close the show, but WWE has referred to multiple matches as the main event, leaving some doubt to the answer. WWE knows this and is managing to debate itself on the issue.
Which one do you have? Check out a rather fun debate:
WWE has released a new video in their Head To Head series looking at which match should main event WrestleMania. The video is presented in a debate style between two people, with one arguing for the Raw Women’s Title match (Becky Lynch and Charlotte challenging champion Ronda Rousey) main eventing the show while the other backs the Universal Title match (Brock Lesnar defending against Seth Rollins). The debate is rather lighthearted and humorous, with arguments from both sides.
Opinion: I would really hope that WWE does the right thing here and have the women’s match main event the show. Rollins vs. Lesnar is pretty run of the mill match and something that we’ve seen before. Going with the women’s match is a way to make something historic, which is certainly a smart choice. It makes sense, and is something that the fans have been hoping to see for a long time now.
