It was a big day. Earlier this week, WWE presented the 1000th episode of SmackDown Live. The show was one of the biggest that the company ever produced with over nineteen years being spent to set it up. This meant all kinds of big names showing up for special appearances with some of the most important names the show has ever had on the card. So what was it like before the show started?
Behind the curtain.
WWE has posted a new video looking behind the scenes of everyone at SmackDown 1000. The video focuses on the major names during the countdown to the show, featuring various stars of the show’s history talking about what it means to them to be here. Randy Orton and Edge are the main wrestlers interviewed, with Orton talking about what the Evolution reunion on the show meant to him.
Opinion: There’s something so cool about seeing what goes on behind the scenes of a show like this. I know the WWE is going to edit what comes out in something like this, but it’s certainly better than seeing the people saying their WWE written lines, which often aren’t the most thrilling things in the world. The show was so important and huge that it’s understandable how invested some of these wrestlers were, making this feel more real.
