The Hunter And The Hunted. WWE Looks At Batista's Greatest Rivals.

Animals have enemies too you know. Earlier this week, WWE saw the return of Batista, the former multiple time World Champion and current movie star, to the company at the 1000th episode of SmackDown Live. The show was primarily a retrospective of the show’s history, with Batista being a major part. That means looking at his history, including some of his biggest opponents.

WWE has posted a new graphic to its Instagram page, looking at Batista’s Five Greatest Rivals. The five of them are all people that Batista has faced several times over the years, many of which were in major matches at big shows. Batista is currently rumored to be coming back for a one off match against Triple H, with the seeds being placed at SmackDown 1000 and the match possibly taking place next year when SmackDown Live moves to FOX.

Opinion: I have no idea if Batista is going to wrestle again. Yeah the signs all seem to be there, but at the same time you never can tell if they’re actually going to do it or not. Batista vs. Triple H would be one of the biggest matches that WWE could produce, but aside from WrestleMania 35, I’m not sure where the match would actually take place. Either way, it’s fun to think about and look back at Batista’s career.
