I would hope this goes without saying. Over the last few weeks, the world has completely changed due to the spread of the Coronavirus. The disease has caused everything to be turned on its head, including professional wrestling. WWE has managed to keep going thanks to their wide range of resources, but one of them has not been used as it was originally intended.

The last few WWE television shows have been as unique as they can get, with several of them taking place at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. These shows have taken place without audiences due to the potential spread of the Coronavirus, making them some of the most different looking shows WWE has ever put together. The Performance Center makes for a special setting, and right now, that’s about all.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, all training at the Performance Center has been halted, with the only work being done at the facility involving the taping of television shows. When television shows are not being taped there, the facility is closed. At the moment, there is no word on how long WWE will be taping shows in the building, or how long they will be allowed to do so.

WWE’s TV has never looked like this. Check out some of the shows from the Performance Center:

Opinion: I can’t say I’m surprised by any of this and it is all that makes sense. Right now, people are barely allowed to be in the same building as each other and it’s not like that seems to be changing anytime soon. There is no need to have them wrestle and train in a building when they can’t even be having matches anytime soon. Maybe the rest can let them heal up a bit, but for now, there is nothing else that can be done.
