Wanted: professional wrestler. Last week, Jack Swagger requested his release from WWE and it was granted…..maybe? Swagger claimed to be gone from WWE and was announced for a show over in England. WWE didn’t seem pleased with this and said the match wasn’t going to happen. It seems that things have been settled for good.

The WAW promotion has announced on its Twitter feed that Swagger will not be appearing for the promotion at the announced date but will be appearing for them later in the year.

A suitable replacement is being sought and will be announced in the next few days. It seems that Swagger is still under his ninety day no compete clause as mentioned last week.

Opinion: This isn’t the most surprising decision in the world as it was a bit too convenient to have Swagger say he’s out of WWE and be ready for another show so quickly. Swagger will be fine and get a job somewhere else in the wrestling world without too much trouble, though it might be a few months before he’s allowed to do so.
