You knew this one was coming. One of the earliest matches speculated for “Wrestlemania XXXIII” has been a multi-woman match for the Raw Women’s Title, presumably between Bayley, Sasha Banks and Charlotte at minimum. We saw a lot of the build to the match take place at “Fastlane 2017” and now we have the rest of the story.

Tonight on “Monday Night Raw”, General Manager Mick Foley was ready to make Banks the #1 contender for Bayley’s title but Commissioner Stephanie McMahon came out and said that she thought Charlotte should get the shot instead. Since she’s the real power on the show, McMahon made a match between Banks and Bayley. If Banks won, the match would become a triple threat. Banks did in fact win and the “Wrestlemania XXXIII” match is now Bayley defending against Banks and Charlotte.

Opinion: As much sense as it would have made to have Bayley win the title from Charlotte at “Wrestlemania XXXIII”, this is……yeah this is clearly just there to get most of the division on the card in one match. The story is forced at best and I’m really not excited to see this match. But this is what Wrestlemania is all about and there’s not much of a way around it.
