It’s a new way to go. Sometimes, wrestlers have trouble getting out of the business. With so much of their lives being put into the ring, it can be hard to find a way to get out and find something new. That being said, sometimes wrestlers can find a long term career in wrestling after their in-ring career wraps up. Then again sometimes things change, which is the case at the moment.

Back at the Royal Rumble in January, MVP made his return to the company for the first time since 2010. It was quite the surprise and even though he didn’t last long in the show’s namesake match, MVP had a new job lined up as a producer and part time wrestler. That was quite the nice deal for MVP, but things have already changed, with MVP getting a different career in WWE.

According to PWInsider Elite by way of 411mania.com, MVP is no longer working as a producer for WWE but will be performing full time as an in-ring competitor. There is no word on why the change took place, though it does come a month and a half after WWF furloughed several agents due to the Coronvirus. MVP wrestled on this week’s Monday Night Raw, losing to Drew McIntyre.

MVP has already been active since his return. Check out what he has been doing lately:

Opinion: This makes sense as there just isn’t a need for a lot of producers at the moment. It wouldn’t surprise me to see the role reinstated when things get back to normal in WWE, but that might not be for a long time. MVP can still be perfectly acceptable in the ring and serves well in his role as Bobby Lashley’s manager. He’s good at what he does so let him offer what he can to the company.

What do you think of MVP’s latest run with the company? Where can he be most valuable? Let us know in the comments below.
