Come join them. NXT has come a long way throughout its existence. What started out as little more than a novel idea that didn’t work out so well has turned into one of the more revered wrestling shows in at least a generation. NXT is rather well received among most wrestling fans who have seen it and that isn’t surprising. However, the talent’s ultimate goal is to make it up to the main rosters and another one is ready to join.

This week on SmackDown, Matt Riddle was officially confirmed for the show with his debut coming in the near future. That was quite the callup as Riddle has been popular enough in NXT to warrant such a promotion. He wasn’t the only name being mentioned, though the second one isn’t official yet. The move is coming though, and now we know some more about it.

Earlier this week, news broke that Dominik Dijakovic was coming up to the main roster. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, his debut will take place in the near future as part of Monday Night Raw. There is no word on what he will be doing when he debuts on the main roster. Dijakovic has not wrestled or appeared on NXT TV since May 6 when he lost to Johnny Gargano.

This is a big signing. Check out the man in action:

Opinion: This is the kind of move that makes a lot of sense. I know Dijakovic hasn’t won anything down in NXT but with his size and athleticism, there isn’t much left for him to do down there. Let him come up to the main roster and blow people’s minds for a bit before he gets to be a bodyguard for someone. It’s a fine way of going about doing things and while Dijakovic could probably use more seasoning, I get why he’s going to the main roster already.

What do you think of Dijakovic? How will he do on the main roster? Let us know in the comments below.
