It’s worth the effort. Injuries can be devastating to a wrestler’s career and it is awful to see them take place so often. You never know when you might see one happen either, as many oft hem are going to be the kind that takes place in the blink of an eye with no particular warning. It is even worse when someone is hurt almost the same way, which was the case last year. Thankfully things seem to be almost back to normal.
Chelsea Green made her SmackDown debut on the November 13 edition as a last minute addition to a four way qualifying match for the women’s Survivor Series team. That’s quite the way to start, but unfortunately Green suffered a broken bone near her hand and was put out of action. This is somehow the second time she has had a similar injury to the same area in her debut match, having had the same issue during her NXT TV debut.
According to Fightful Select, Green is in the process of being cleared for a return to the ring, though it is not clear when she will be able to be back in action. Green has been training at Robert Stone’s gym with names such as Britt Baker, Rebel, Santana Garrett and Deonna Purrazzo but has yet to clear WWE’s protocol. There is no word on if she could be cleared in time for the Royal Rumble.
There isn’t much to pick from. Check out Green’s main roster debut:
Opinion: That’s nice to hear as it’s hard to fathom that someone could suffer nearly the same injury in almost identical circumstances. The good thing is that the injury is a broken bone and not a torn ligament or something more long term. It seems like it was a complete freak accident that she was hurt again and hopefully she can come back to show what she is capable of on the main roster.
