Welcome back. With so many people on the WWE roster, it can be easy to have some of them slip under the radar. There are only so many places to put all of these wrestlers and sometimes they are going to miss some time for one reason or another. That can make their big return that much more interesting and that seems to have been the case this week on SmackDown.

The WWE roster was shaken up by quite a few things over the course of the last year with the Coronavirus pandemic being the biggest change. That was not all of the changes though as WWE also underwent the usual assortment of injuries with wrestlers missing time as a result. One injury kept a top star out of action for a few months but now he is back in action.

Former Universal Champion Braun Strowman made his return to WWE television this week on SmackDown for the first time since November, when he was suspended for attacking WWE official Adam Pearce after Survivor Series. The suspension was used to write Strowman off of television for a knee injury. Strowman appeared at the end of the show to attack various wrestlers. The appearance does not mean a move to SmackDown, as he was one of several Monday Night Raw stars appearing on the show.

Opinion: This had to happen at some point and it is nice to have Strowman back. He is tailor made for something like the Royal Rumble and even won the Greatest Royal Rumble in Saudi Arabia a few years back. While I’m not sure I would bet on him to win the whole thing, he certainly is someone who could play a role in the match and that could set up something for him down the road.
