Another Music Star Wants To Be In WWE, Argues With Retribution

There’s a theme here. Celebrities have been a part of wrestling for decades and that will be the case for a long time to come. It makes all the sense in the world too, as just having someone famous for something outside of wrestling can bring in a completely fresh set of eyes. That is something WWE has certainly loved over the years and that may be the case again with another music star.

One of the biggest WWE stories in recent weeks has been Bad Bunny coming to the company and kind of taking it by storm. Bunny’s WWE merchandise has already sold out and there is no reason to suggest that he will not be around for a good while to come. If Bunny can bring in an extra audience to WWE then so be it, but now there might be another musician joining him.

In a series of posts on Twitter, rapper Bow Wow has said that he wants to join WWE and win the Tag Team Titles with Rey Mysterio. Bow Wow said that he would be interested in getting into WWE after his final album was released at some point in the future, calling it a childhood dream. Following the tweets, T-Bar’s Retribution responded, insulting Bow Wow’s film Like Mike, with WWE.com covering the argument. Various other wrestlers got involved as well and looked at the possibilities of Bow Wow wrestling one day.

Opinion: I’m not sure if this is going to go anywhere but if there is interest on both sides, there are worse ideas from WWE. They have certainly had some success with Bunny so if it works for him, maybe it can work for Bow Wow as well. At the end of the day, WWE is all about making money and if this is something that will do so for them, maybe it is worth a shot.
