At least he can spend more time with his car. NXT is one of the best things to happen to WWE in a good many…well ever actually. It offers an actual alternative to the main roster product and lets a lot of wrestlers grow up before our eyes. A lot of the names down there have gone from nothing to very talented stars who are ready for the big time. Some aren’t quite so successful though and it shows badly. That being said, sometimes there are people who just aren’t working and there’s no way around that. This time though, one of them is having a bit of a setback.

Maybe this can help him long term.

Heavy Machinery vs. Riddick Moss & Tino Sabbatelli: WWE NXT, April 25, 2018

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Tino Sabbatelli has suffered a torn pectoral muscle and will be on the shelf. While Sabbatelli’s potential time out of the ring has yet to be determined, the average time for such a recovery is usually six to nine months. Sabbatelli recently split up with his long time tag team partner Riddick Moss, walking out on him during a tag match on the April 25 episode of NXT. There is no word on what was planned for Sabbatelli before his injury.

Opinion: While it’s never good to see someone injured, it’s not like Sabbatelli was doing much in the first place. He’s most famous for being an underachiever on the Breaking Ground reality show and having feuds involving his car. You would think he would have improved somewhere in the intervening time but that doesn’t seem to be the case. Maybe Sabbatelli needs the time away from the ring, but he’s not exactly a can’t miss prospect in the first place.

What do you think of Sabbatelli? What will he be doing when he returns from injury? Let us know in the comments below.
