Plug the leaks. There is a lot of news going on in wrestling every single day (odds are you know this if you’re reading something like this in the first place). Some of the stories are more accurate than others but that can make things more interesting. Sometimes you see something that might not be entirely true but has a few elements of truth in them, giving you a hint of what’s coming. That has to come from somewhere though and WWE is not happy with that.
Whether you like them or not, WWE is the biggest wrestling company in the world. They have so much talent, both in general and in pure numbers, that they often don’t have room for everyone, which is why shows like NXT exist. They allow the wrestlers to have a place to go and that is one of the best things that can happen. However, WWE had something to say at this week’s NXT taping and the talent was involved.
According to Fightful Select by way of Ringsidenews.com, WWE held a meeting at the NXT taping, telling the wrestlers to stop leaking information to dirt sheets. Apparently this was directed at one specific wrestlers but the speech was given to the entire roster. It is not known if this is just being done for WrestleMania season or if it is something that WWE has been worried about for a long time.

Opinion: I can’t say I’m surprised by something like this as WWE is not going to want all of these leaks before WrestleMania really gets going. They have a lot of big things going on in the near future and hopefully they are able to keep their fans surprised. It can be annoying knowing what is coming from week to week and having that be the case at the biggest time of the year makes it even worse. Maybe this can make it better, but there is almost no way to hold everything in.
