That’s not a good sign for the future. With all of the changes taking place in wrestling at the moment, it is clear that something has to be dropped. There is only so much time in the week to make everything work and only so many resources to put towards all the shows the companies want to put out. Something has to give and that something might have started this week.

According to PWInsider.com, this week’s episode of 205 Live was canceled and a replay was aired instead. The decision was made due to WWE wanting to focus on SmackDown and SmackDown alone tonight. The 205 Live was at the event and preparing for the event but the decision to cancel the show was made at the last minute. At the moment, the plan is to run the show as usual next week.

At least you’re getting a good repeat. Check out a great match from last week’s show:

Opinion: I know the show is likely to be back next week, but when the main title was turned into an NXT title two days ago, this really doesn’t bode well for the future. That being said, I don’t know how much of a future 205 Live has in the first place. It really isn’t a show a lot of fans are seemingly interested in anyway, so maybe just merging it into NXT might be the best for everything.
