Sounds good to me. Believe it or not, we are less than ten weeks away from WrestleMania 36. That means things are going to start getting big in a hurry. There are a lot of things going on at the moment but that does not mean it is going to be happening in Tampa. That being said, WWE can start planting some seeds for the big show and we might know something that is coming.

Sunday night at the Royal Rumble, Edge made his in-ring return after nearly nine years away due to a neck injury. During the match, Edge got in a series of spears and eliminated a few people, looking rather sharp in the process. That’s a good sign for his future, but what does that future hold? There was a part in the match that gave us a pretty clear hint about what’s coming.

According to Wrestling Observer Radio, Edge is expected to face Randy Orton at WrestleMania 36. The match was teased during the Royal Rumble when the two had a staredown and then Edge eliminated Orton. Orton attacked Edge on this week’s Monday Night Raw, including giving him a one man Conchairto to end the show. Edge and Orton teamed together as Rated-RKO from 2006-2007, winning the World Tag Team Titles. It is not clear how frequently Edge will be wrestling.

There is a history here. Check out some of Rated-RKO’s highlights:

Opinion: Works for me. I mean, anything involving Edge getting back in the ring is a good thing to hear because it was almost impossible to imagine that being the case just a few days ago. Edge’s injury seemed like the kind of thing that was going to keep him out of the ring for the rest of his life but now he is back, at least for the time being. That’s some great news, as is the sound of him facing Orton at WrestleMania.
