So much for momentum. There are a lot of people on the WWE roster and that can cause some problems when it comes to keeping everyone active. With so many people available, it can be hard to figure out a way to find something for them all to do. Some are going to get a more prominent spot than others, but it seems that one those spots will be open for the time being.

There have been very few wrestlers as hot lately as Andrade. He has been on a roll as of late, including winning the United States Title from Rey Mysterio at the December 26 live event in Madison Square Garden. That’s quite the career boost for him and he successfully defended his title Sunday night at the Royal Rumble Kickoff Show. However, it might be his last highlight for the time being.

According to Pro Wrestling Sheet, Andrade has been suspended for thirty days due to a violation of the WWE Wellness Policy. This is Andrade’s first violation and it is not clear what caused the violation. Andrade defended his title against Humberto Carrillo this week on Monday Night Raw, retaining via disqualification. After the match was over, Carrillo gave Andrade a hammerlock DDT onto the exposed concrete, which may be a way to write Andrade off television.

This might be it for the time being. Check out Andrade’s title defense against Carrillo:

Opinion: Egads man. I’m not sure what Andrade was suspended for but it could not have come at a much worse time. He will be back in time for WrestleMania but I’m not sure how prominently he is going to be featured when he gets back. That is some horrible timing and there is a strong chance that Andrade only has himself to blame. Hopefully things turn around for him, but it might take some time.

When will Andrade drop the title? What is next for him? Let us know in the comments below.
