This is the case throughout all of WWE, which has a lot of people keeping all of its wheels spinning. Now one of its backstage workers is taking a surprising role.

As a global company, WWE is always looking to expand to new markets. The company needs to find new fans and new places to go and they are constantly trying to do just that. WWE has tried to find a way into one of the biggest population bases in the world, but that is going to need a lot of effort. According to Sportskeeda, WWE Hall of Famer Jeff Jarrett is one of the main people working on the company’s expansion into India. Jarrett is also helping to scout for an Indian born star for WWE. Jarrett is being used in the spot after his work with Ring Ka King in India while part of Impact Wrestling. WWE has been planning to launch an NXT India at some point early in 2021.

Opinion: This is the kind of thing that makes sense when you think about it but man alive is it a weird headline to see out of context. If nothing else though, it shows how smart it was to bring Jarrett in. Not only is he someone with a history as a wrestler, but he also has a history running a big wrestling company and probably has some connections that WWE can use.
