In case it wasn’t clear enough this week. At the moment, no one in WWE is hotter than Seth Rollins. He’s having one incredible match after another and no one, including the usual human shaped anchor Jinder Mahal, can drag him down. Rollins looks ready to bring anyone to the best matches of their career, meaning that anyone who gets to work with him is a very lucky person. Who might be up next for Rollins?

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Rollins is likely to be defending his Intercontinental Title against Elias at next month’s Money in the Bank. The two got started earlier this week on Monday Night Raw when Rollins interrupted an Elias concert before a match against Mahal. After the match, Rollins chased Mahal off with a chair but got hit by a guitar shot from Elias. Rollins was loaded up on a stretcher but got up and walked off under his own power.

It was a heck of an angle to set up what should be a good match.

Opinion: I’m down for this. Elias has struck gold with his current character and is good enough in the ring to live up to the hype. Rollins continues to be one of the best in the world at the moment and I’m interested in seeing what he can do against someone lower on the pole than him. It’s one thing to have a good match with another top level name but it’s even more impressive to bring someone up to your level. This could be a lot of fun and if they do it right, that’s exactly what we’ll get.
