Well they certainly have the experience. Over the years, Impact Wrestling has shown a history of some rather up and down plot twists. Some of them have been described as anything from nonsensical to completely ridiculous, but a lot of them tend to be due to turning someone heel. While this may seem like such a simple act, it can change the direction the company is heading for a very long time. They can be downright ruthless though, and that’s where we’re going today.

Some of these may make you cringe in more than one way. Check out the list.

5 Most DESPICABLE Heel Turns in IMPACT Wrestling History | GWN Top 5

Impact Wrestling has posted a new Top Five video looking at the most despicable heel turns (the term they use) in company history. As you might expect, these date back throughout the company’s history and showcase a wide variety of talent, most of whom are no longer with the company. These date back to the earlier days of the promotion and all the way up to last year. Odds are there are some that you’ve forgotten about since they’ve taken place.

Opinion: I know the modern version of the promotion is mocked a lot of the time and rightfully so, but that doesn’t mean that everything they’ve ever done has been bad. There is a great history there and the people involved worked very hard to get the stories over, no matter how little sense they made. Some of these entries were very good angles and made me want to see where things were going, meaning they were successes. I like it when Impact Wrestling looks back like this because there’s good stuff to be seen.
