That seems excessive. We are coming up on WrestleMania 36 but there are a few stopping points to cover on the way there. That can cause some issues for WWE as while they have a pretty clear card set for WrestleMania, there are still things that need to be done first. It can cause some issues with setting up everything that needs to be done, but this time WWE’s strategy seems to be doing the same thing three times.

With just over two weeks to go before Elimination Chamber, the card has barely been touched. We have the Elimination Chamber match set to crown a new #1 contender to Becky Lynch but that’s all we have so far. You need a lot more than that to have a full pay per view card, but with WrestleMania looming so soon thereafter, there isn’t much else to do. So let’s just do the same thing again.

During this week’s SmackDown, two more Elimination Chamber matches were mentioned, bringing the total to three on the card. Lacey Evans officially entered an Elimination Chamber match with the winner receiving a SmackDown Women’s Title match at WrestleMania. Later in the show, Sheamus entered another Elimination Chamber match, though the prize for the winner is not clear. No one else entered either match. This would be the first time there have been three Elimination Chamber matches in one night.

And announcements make three. Check out the matches being mentioned:

Opinion: I’m not sure on this as it seems like quite a bit of overkill. The biggest problem I see in something like this is the chance that they might even add in another match. With eighteen people involved in three matches, there aren’t exactly a lot of people left to fill out the rest of the show. You can almost guarantee that something else will take place on the show, but the options are limited.

Do you like three Elimination Chamber matches on the show? Who do you see winning them?
