It isn’t going to work for everyone. I don’t think it is any secret that the last year has been a bit different than any other time in wrestling history. The Coronavirus has shaken everything up in a rather hard way and almost no one has been the same as they were before the whole thing started. This certainly applies to WWE and it seems that one of its higher profile names is not in the best place either.
There are a lot of wrestlers in WWE who are going to get your attention in a hurry. This could be the case for a variety of reasons, but pure charisma is one of the best reasons possible. That was certainly the case with Shinsuke Nakamura, who has been one of the more up and down wrestlers in WWE since he made his debut. Nakamura has yet to really grasp his true potential and that might not be sitting well with him.
Nakamura has posted a new video to his Instagram account, talking about Apollo Crews. In the comments, a fan mentioned that Nakamura was happier wrestling the WWE styles and surfing, as Nakamura has spoken about doing before. Nakamura responded, asking who said he was happy, and saying only to believe what he said. It is not clear if this is a storyline or if Nakamura is interested in leaving WWE when his contract expires.
Maybe something else made him unhappy. Check out the promo and what might have set him off:
Opinion: I’m not sure what is going on in Nakamura’s head but I could certainly see him not being thrilled with his current status in WWE. At the end of the day, he has never been continually pushed as one of the top stars in WWE and I don’t know if he ever will be. There could be a few reasons for that but it should be interesting to see what happens with Nakamura going forward.
