That’s a reason. The Coronavirus pandemic has shaken up the world in a lot of ways and there are a lot of things that still are not quite the same. It has made for some rather terrible situations, including the amount of people who have gotten sick or even died during the pandemic. Various vaccinations have managed to slow things down a lot, but now they might have caused a problem in the wrestling world.

Earlier this week, WWE released nearly twenty wrestlers from the company, with the explanation being a series of budget cuts. However, according to the New York Post, at least one wrestler was released due to their Coronavirus vaccination status, including Nia Jax. According to Fightful Select, there could have been five wrestlers released due to their vaccination status, though no names were included. It was also noted that vaccination status was NOT the only reason for all releases.

This is kind of a mess. Check out some of the released wrestlers while you still can:

Opinion: I’m not sure why these people have been released from WWE but what matters the most here is the fact that they are gone. WWE has shaken things up again and it is not exactly the best things for the fans or the wrestlers themselves. Hopefully the wrestlers find a place to go and ply their trade, though there are some things that are going to be a bigger deal, including the health of those around them.
