It would be a standup act. Sean Waltman has quickly become one of the more intriguing podcasters in wrestling with his “X-Pac 1,2,360” podcast. Waltman always has an interesting opinion on what’s going on in wrestling and in this case, he has some inside information that makes things all the more interesting.
“He (Styles) came up and he went, I was watching your show and he goes, I just wanted to tell you what you said about John Cena being the man and the best going, you’re a hundred percent correct. He goes, anyone that doesn’t agree with you, it’s because they don’t really know John Cena and have never been in the ring with him.”
Waltman went on to say something was changed in Tuesday’s triple threat match for the Smackdown World Title:
“I’m not sure what the finish was supposed to be for the match last night. But I know this for a fact, that John Cena insisted on putting Bray Wyatt over again last night, insisted on it. That’s not just a rumor.”
Opinion: I’m not sure how Waltman came to the conclusion that Cena put Wyatt over in the end but it wouldn’t surprise me if it’s true. Wyatt is in a weird place at the moment as he has to get some big wins over big names and pinning Cena is going to do nothing but good for his title reign. There’s no reason to believe what Waltman says isn’t true and given the other stories you hear about Cena, I don’t have much of an issue believing these stories.
Do you believe Waltman? Who do you think takes the title from Wyatt? Let us know in the comments below.
