The tag division just keeps getting better. The NXT tag team division has been one of the strongest in wrestling in recent months with a rotating cast of teams at the top. At the moment it’s the Authors of Pain holding the titles but both the Revival and DIY are hot on their trail. As luck would have it, we don’t have to wait until the next Takeover to see another title match.

As announced on this week’s episode of “NXT”, the Authors of Pain will put their titles on the line in two weeks against DIY in the contractually obligated rematch. The champions’ manager Paul Ellering accepted the challenge on behalf of the team but the Revival jumped DIY from behind before anything could happen tonight. DIY defeated the Revival back in November at “Takeover: Toronto” but lost them to the Authors of Pain at “Takeover: San Antonio” in January.

Opinion: Yes please. At this point I could go for any combination of these teams fighting over the titles, which is rather surprising given that I was never expecting anything from the Authors. My guess is this is setting up a triple threat at “Takeover: Orlando”, which isn’t something you see all that often in NXT.

Do you think the titles chance hands in two weeks? What do you expect for the belts at “Takeover”? Let us know in the comments below.
