Not so fast and thank goodness for that. Over the last few weeks, there has been no hotter name in wrestling than Jon Moxley. The former Dean Ambrose left WWE, showed up in AEW and has become one of the most interesting featured guests on the podcasting circuit. One of the most discussed topics has been his thoughts on the WWE creative process, which includes handing him a script and telling him what to say. As it turns out, there might have been a little miscommunication.
During Moxley’s podcast appearance on Talk Is Jericho, he told a story about WWE wanting him to say a line about Roman Reigns’ leukemia diagnosis. Moxley not only refused to say the line on television but also refused to reveal the line on the podcast, saying he would tell Chris Jericho off the air. Since then, a rumor has been circulating including the specific line, though Jericho has said that the rumor is a “total lie”. At the moment, there is no official word on what the actual line was and there is a chance we will never know what it was. The line and Jericho’s denial can be seen below:

Jericho and Ambrose certainly have a history together. Check out Ambrose destroying Jericho’s jacket:
Opinion: It’s quite the relief to hear Jericho refute that line because I think I’d need a shower if someone actually wrote that line and was paid to do so. That’s just a horrible thing to say and I couldn’t imagine Moxley, or anyone for that matter, actually saying that about someone who was in such a bad condition. I think I’d rather never hear what the line was, just so I don’t have to be so disturbed by the whole thing.
