I would say that’s a big one. Over the last year, no one in the WWE has been hotter than Becky Lynch. She has gone from a popular name to a megastar, even main eventing WrestleMania and winning the Raw Women’s Title, which she still holds about eight months later. At this rate she is running out of people to face and that means her remaining fresh defenses are few and far between. We might know one of them though.
This was a big part of Lynch’s roll. Check out what got her to WrestleMania 35:
According to Tom Colohue on the Dropkick DiSKussions podcast, there is a possibility of Lynch defending the title against Asuka at the 2020 Royal Rumble. This would be a rematch of last year’s match where Lynch was defeated by Asuka in a match for the SmackDown Women’s Title. Lynch would go on to win the Women’s Royal Rumble later in the night, which allowed her to go on to the main event of WrestleMania 35.
It was a show with some details. Check out how the podcast, as well as a look at the first match:
Opinion: Honestly, there aren’t many people left for Lynch to face and it seems like we might be getting ready for the return of Ronda Rousey. You know that Lynch is going to be in a big match at WrestleMania 36 and who else is left for her to face but Rousey? The match could be a big deal and another historic moment, though I’m not sure how well it would go over with the live crowd, as it didn’t quite hit well in 2019. Then again, what is going to at the end of a seven hour show?
