That doesn’t sound like coming back to WWE. There are very few names who have made their debut and had the kind of impact that Ronda Rousey has had in their rookie year. Rousey’s in-ring debut took place at WrestleMania 34, then she main evented WrestleMania 35, and then she was gone. While fans want her back, there may be something that will keep her out of the ring a bit longer.
According to We Got This Covered, Rousey is being eyed for the role of She-Hulk in an upcoming Marvel series on the Disney+ service. At the moment, there is no word on if Rousey would be interested in the role or how this would impact her potential return to WWE. There is no word on who else in the running for the role or when production on the series would begin.
Rousey can act. Check out one of her more infamous moments in WWE:
Opinion: It certainly would make sense to have Rousey play such a role, though this would seem to be something that would keep her out of the ring for a long time. She is kind of a perfect fit for the role though as she can certainly look menacing and destroy people with the physicality, though it might not be the biggest problem for WWE. If Rousey was going to wrestle on a limited schedule, maybe she could find a way to do both.
Would Rousey be a good fit for the character? Will she ever be back in WWE? Let us know in the comments below.
