The voices behind the ring. WWE is changing all the time these days and that means that it can be hard to keep up with what is going on. That is where a good commentary team can come into play and under the right circumstances, they can make or break a show. As it turns out, commentary may be changing along with various other things and it might be going backwards in a way.

According to the WrestleVotes Twitter account, all WWE shows will be moving back to two person commentary teams in the near future. This includes Monday Night Raw and SmackDown Live, though there is no word on if Monday Night Raw will be changing over when SmackDown Live makes the move to FOX on October 4. There is no word on who will be calling which shows.

Maybe they can make this list. Check out some all time great announcer calls:

Opinion: Works for me, but at the end of the day it doesn’t matter who is doing commentary if they continue to drone on and on as they tend to do now. WWE commentary has been a dark spot for a long time now and a lot of that comes from the way they speak, in addition to the number of them. By letting the booth calm down a bit and focus on actual wrestling, they might be in for a much better result.
