Hopefully it’s not so bad. Jason Jordan has been an interesting case since moving over to the “Monday Night Raw” roster. His storyline as Kurt Angle’s son wasn’t the best received, but Jordan clearly has talent and could turn into something under the right circumstances. However, there may be a major roadblock in his way.

According to “Wrestling Observer Radio” by way of 411mania.com, Jordan’s current neck injury may require surgery which could put him out of action for a long time. The injury is causing him to lose the strength in his grip and could put him out of action for twelve to fourteen months. It would be similar to injuries suffered by Chris Benoit and Arn Anderson, though Jordan is looking into options to avoid surgery. Jordan hasn’t been wrestling on live events of late and was barely active in the Tag Team Title match at “Royal Rumble 2018”.

Here’s what a healthy Jordan is capable of:

Opinion: Well dang. Hopefully this isn’t something career ending but at the same time it’s better for Jordan to get this fixed as soon as possible rather than letting it get worse and worse. I’m not sure where this leaves “Wrestlemania XXXIV” as Jordan vs. Seth Rollins was likely going to be on the card. If Jordan is out, this would be the second opponent to be removed from a match with Rollins at the show.

Has Jordan grown on you? If he can’t face Rollins, who should? Let us know in the comments below.
