One, two, three. As a rule, wrestling matches are most often finished by pinfalls or submissions. Typically that means a fall taking place inside the ring but on occasion, there will be something a little bit different. Either the rules are changed to allow falls elsewhere or the falls might be a little different than one person pinning another single person. That sounds like the call for a countdown.

WWE has released a Top Ten list of the strangest pinfalls of all time. These include a host of modern selections but several which go back in time to the previous decade and even the 1990s. Some of them are older than others but there’s almost certainly something in here that you either haven’t seen or haven’t looked at in a good while. Here’s the video:

Strangest Superstar pinfalls: WWE Top 10, Feb. 5, 2018

Opinion: I remember the Big Show’s pin against a wall and I was hoping that it would be on the list. I’m still not sure on the Halftime Heat pin but it’s certainly strange, which is exactly the point of this list. Still though, some of these are interesting enough to look at, especially when it’s a bunch of one off moments that might have been forgotten.

What is your favorite moment on this list? Did they get the top moment right? Let us know in the comments below.
