One more and then we go home. We’re less than a week away from “Summerslam 2017” and that means it’s time to kick the build into high gear. This week was the go home edition of “Monday Night Raw” and that means the audience and ratings could be strong indicators of how well Sunday’s show will be doing.

According to 411mania.com, this week’s episode drew a 1.14 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 3.233 million viewers. Those numbers are up 9% and down less than 1% from last week’s 1.05 and 3.24 million viewers. The rating is the highest since April 17’s 1.19 and the audience is the second highest (after last week’s) since the same date.

Opinion: While the numbers might not have blown the roof off the place, they’re also not the biggest surprise. There’s a good chance that a lot of fans are ready for Sunday’s pay per view already and didn’t see the point in watching the full three hour TV show. The numbers certainly didn’t plummet either, which is a good sign for the company. Next week’s are the important ones though as we end the “Summerslam 2017” cycle and head on to everything else.
