At the live event for ‘Smackdown Live‘ in Miami, Florida, a former WWE Divas Champion happened to be backstage, according to WrestlingInc.

Kaitlyn said goodbye to the WWE Universe in early January of 2014. She terminated her contract on January 8 of that year and said that she considered herself retired in July of the same year. While in the company, she was one of the toughest, fiercest competitors there. She was a former Divas Champion and had one of the best women’s rivalries of that time with real-life friend AJ Lee. Below we have featured the goodbye video from Kaitlyn. If you never saw this, we highly recommend watching and giving us your opinions on it.

Kaitlyn says goodbye to the WWE Universe

Kaitlyn was backstage visiting several friends she used to work with in the company. This includes Tamina, Naomi and Natalya. She took to her Instagram account to say the following:

“Surround yourself with likeminded people. Associate yourself with people that lift you up. Strong women empower each other. They don’t tear each other down. I’ve laughed, cried, bled and triumphed with these women and it created an unbreakable bond. No matter how much time goes by, we always pick right back up. I’m so proud to see them doing big things, breaking molds and forging paths. Here’s to the ever evolving world of women’s wrestling. Yes, I’m smelling T’s hair. That was always my favorite part of the Samoan Drop. She has the best smelling hair in the industry.”

This is accompanied by a small photo album of pictures with her and her friends (former co-workers mentioned above):

Natalya would also take to her Instagram to showcase a reunion with Kaitlyn:

We expect that this appearance by Kaitlyn is not indicative of a return and most likely just her catching up with friends while they were in the area. Some good timing.
