The World’s Most Famous Tribute? Whether you have been watching the Last Ride or not, you are probably aware of the fact that the Undertaker’s in-ring career seems to be wrapping up. At fifty five years old, there is only so much more that he is going to be able to do in the ring anyway, meaning that a nearly thirty year WWE career is probably wrapping up. That sounds worthy of a lot of praise, including something very special to WWE.

WWE really has been around for a very long time now and there are certain things that are iconic to the company. One of them is Madison Square Garden, where several of the most important shows the company has ever produced have taken place. It is the hallowed hall for the company, and now is it getting in on the tributes to the Undertaker as he seems ready to hang up the boots.

As seen on its Twitter account, Madison Square Garden has paid tribute to the Undertaker with a “THANK YOU TAKER” banner outside the arena. The tweet thanks Undertaker for thirty years of memories with an image of the banner included. Undertaker has wrestled at Madison Square Garden on and off during his career, including at WrestleMania 20 against Kane.

Opinion: This is the kind of thing that makes me smile as a wrestling fan as Undertaker has certainly earned this level of praise. He has been around for longer than a lot of fans have been alive and it’s almost hard to imagine that he is going to be gone pretty soon. It had to happen at some point, but that does not mean that it is going to be any easier to see. This is a nice tribute though, and hopefully one of many.
