That would be a big one. We are less than a week away from the Royal Rumble and that means it is time to start wondering about who is going to fill out the rest of the lineups for the namesake matches. The men’s match has already been mostly filled but there are still several spots available. That makes for some interesting discussions but one of the spots might be taken.

With so much history, there is a lot to discuss in the build towards the Royal Rumble. There have been a lot of entries over the years and WWE does a great job of showing off how big the show is with their Rumble By The Numbers videos. There are a few numbers that never go away and some of them involve the same person. That person may be back for one more try at the Rumble.

According to PWInsider.com, Kane is going to be at this Sunday’s Royal Rumble and very well may be involved in the Royal Rumble itself. At the moment, it is not clear if he will be wrestling or not, though he made an appearance on last week’s SmackDown to talk about how important the match was. Kane holds the records for most Royal Rumble appearances with nineteen and the most Royal Rumble eliminations with 44.

Kane has a history in the Royal Rumble. Check out some of his handiwork:

Opinion: I know Kane is far past his prime and not really a wrestler anymore, but his history in the Royal Rumble makes him the kind of person who is perfect to put into the match at this stage. Let him get in there and give someone a small rub while maybe even advancing his records a little bit at a time. It’s not like it hurts anything and the fans could be rather happy to see him.
