I remember that one. WWE is a company with a lot of wrestlers at any given moment, meaning there are a lot of people who have worked for them over the years. When you think about it, the amount of names and wrestlers is insane and no one is going to be able to remember all of them. There are always going to be people that you forget and one of them is coming back in a very different role.

Things have changed a lot in wrestling over the last fifteen years. There have been a lot of names to come and go and some of them have been more successful than others. A lot of those names may have had some success when they were in the ring and if they were talented at what they did, they might be worth considering for a backstage position. That seems to be the case with a name you might have forgotten about.

During an interview with TVsports.ca, former Tag Team Champion Sylvain Grenier has rejoined WWE and is in training to be an agent. At the moment he has not been assigned to Monday Night Raw or SmackDown, though he will be training at every show he can. Grenier wrestled for WWE from 2003-2007, during which he was a four time Tag Team Champion with Rob Conway and Rene Dupree as part of La Resistance.

You might not remember him. Check out some of Grenier’s moments:

Opinion: That’s one of the most random hires I’ve seen in a very long time and I’m not sure what to think of it. Grenier is the kind of wrestler who was around for awhile and played a role. I’m rather surprised by the fact that he was given this kind of a chance but maybe he’ll be better than expected. If nothing else, adding in some fresh blood might be a good idea.

Are you surprised by the hire? How do you see Grenier’s tenure going? Let us know in the comments below.
