1, 2, 3 sentons? Sean Waltman knows a thing or two about how the WWE works and he’s always one to have an opinion on a lot of subjects. In this case, he had something to say about Seth Rollins being beaten down at the hands of Samoa Joe to end this week’s episode of “Monday Night Raw”.

On his “X-Pac 1-2-360” Podcast, Waltman spoke about the beatdown and about how he wasn’t sure if Rollins was really hurt at first but then saw how the injury could have happened. As for the beatdown itself, Waltman thought it went on a little bit too long and didn’t seem happy about it. Here are his full comments, first on the knee injury:

“I didn’t at first. When I saw it I was thinking to myself, ahh this is good. They’re really doing that, making people think that they’re going to miss out on Seth Rollins again for WrestleMania and then they give him to them makes them feel like they got something extra. Good idea! But then I watched the end of the beatdown when he went into the [Coquina Clutch]. Really, yeah, I can see how that tweaked his right knee.”

And then on the beatdown:

“The thing that just stood out to me is this beatdown should’ve been a quarter as long as it was. It’s my opinion, but I think my opinion counts, and It just seemed like it drug on and on and on. Not that everything he did wasn’t great, but still. [Three] sentons? I mean, one’s fine. I know we want to let people see what Joe does, but we didn’t have to give it all to them in one beatdown.”

I didn’t think the beatdown went on too long but then again that might be because I was so glad to see Samoa Joe show up. Samoa Joe looked like a killer and choking Rollins out is a good start for his main roster run. Hopefully the knee injury isn’t as bad as it seems and he might get to appear at “Wrestlemania XXXIII”.

Do you agree with Waltman? Should the beatdown have been shorter? Let us know in the comments below.
