Can you blame them? There are a lot of people who work for WWE and that means they are able to do a lot of things at once. If some extras are needed for a segment, the additional wrestlers can step in and help fill in some spots. That is a good thing to have available, though it does not mean that everything is going to go as smoothly as you may expect.

Over the last few months, WWE has not been able to have fans in attendance at their events. That can create a bit of an issue in multiple areas, including the lack of atmosphere for the television shows. It’s strange for wrestlers to have matches and segments in front of no one, but WWE started fixing the solution last week by having NXT wrestlers stand in the arena. This did not go well for one specific reason.

According to Wrestlinginc.com, the NXT wrestlers had a difficult time with the tapings, which saw them arrive at the building at 10am and not leave until 10pm, with very little sitting or resting involved all day. This was the case Monday thru Wednesday, followed by a special taping on Thursday for the Adam Cole vs. Velveteen Dream match set to air Sunday at Takeover: In Your House. The taping began at 7pm but weather delayed the start until after midnight, meaning the wrestlers were not finished until early morning.

They look a little beat. Check out the crowd at the recent shows:

Opinion: That does sound like a rough three day stretch, but it did help the atmosphere at the events. At some point you just need someone there to help make things better and that was the case with the wrestlers in attendance. You would think they could be put into bleachers or at least have some chairs brought in, but they are stuck this way for now, which must get old fast.
