Next Takeover up. We are just over a month away from the seven year anniversary of the WWE Network. The service is one of the greatest things that wrestling fans have ever seen as they are now able to see such a large portion of the WWE video library for a rather low price each month. There are some other things on the card to go with the library though and now we are looking at another instance.
One of the best things about the WWE Network is NXT, which has become a major draw on the Network. Not only do you get a weekly television series which offers a slightly shorter version than the broadcast episode, but there is also the revered Takeover series. Starting back in 2014, Takeover has become NXT’s signature show and hearing that one is coming is a great feeling. That is the case again.
During this week’s edition of NXT, a new Takeover special was announced. The show will take place on February 14 at the Capitol Wrestling Arena in Winter Park, Florida. This will be the thirty third edition of the series, which debuted back in May 2014. There are currently no matches announced for the show or any kind of a subtitle, ala 31, WarGames or In Your House.
It has a lot to live up to. Check out what Takeover has done before:
Opinion: This is always a good thing to see as Takeover is one of the best products that WWE has had in years. The shows work every time with one great match after another, but that matters here is giving NXT a bit more time in between the shows as you can only get so much set up with so little time. This should be good and hopefully it lives up to the considerable hype.
