Ouch. There is always a chance of an injury at any time in a wrestling match. No matter how much training or planning a wrestler can have, there is a possibility that someone could get hurt. It can happen in the blink of an eye on a move that they have done a hundred times, but the possibility is there. Unfortunately it seems to have happened again this week on television.
The main event of this week’s edition of AEW Dynamite saw La Faccion Ingobernable facing the Young Bucks and the returning Kenny Omega. At some point during the match, Andrade El Idolo seemed to hurt his arm or shoulder, which he was favoring throughout the rest of the match. El Idolo finished the match and there is currently no word on what kind of injury he suffered or how long he might be out of action, if he is whatsoever.
Opinion: It was a rather gutsy performance to keep going throughout the rest of a hard hitting match and El Idolo made it work. El Idolo has long since showcased himself as a talented wrestler and now he has gotten to show just how tough he can be as well. Hopefully he can be back in the ring in no time and the injury is something that can be fixed with a bit of rest and no trouble, as you never want to see someone get hurt.
What do you think of El Idolo? How far can he go in AEW? Let us know in the comments below.
