It’s the special stuff you get. WWE is mainly centered around its television shows, with most of the matches and angles taking place on Monday Night Raw and SmackDown. However, there are also other events that take place throughout the week with nothing airing on television. You see different kinds of things there and that was on display twice at the same show over the weekend.
WWE held one of their Sunday Stunner events this past Sunday night in Atlantic City, New Jersey. One of the matches featured Seth Rollins defeating Dolph Ziggler. During the match, Rollins mocked a referee in the corner, prompting the referee to yell back at Rollins, who backed away from him and tried to hide in the corner as the referee continued to yell and then posed.
He fought back. Check out Rollins dealing with the referee:
The following match saw Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler team up to defeat Raquel Rodriguez and Aliyah. Following the match, a fan asked Rousey for a photo. Rousey took the fan’s phone and ran across the aisle to take a photo of herself with some younger fans before returning it. She would respond to the clip posted on Twitter, saying “mwahahahahahaha”.

Opinion: This is the kind of thing you see at a live event and that makes it all the better. WWE gets and often deserves a lot of flack for some of the things that they do on television, but they still do know how to have fun out there. Live events are such a more intimate atmosphere, allowing the wrestlers to have more fun with the fans. That was the situation here and it was great to see the wrestlers being more laid back.
