Open the vault. The spread of the Coronavirus has changed the way the sports world works at the moment. With almost no live sports taking place at any given point, alternatives are being sought out and that means wrestling is becoming a hot commodity. A lot of wrestling companies have a deep library of content available and that is the kind of thing that television is cashing in on.
While WWE and AEW are the wrestling promotions that get the most attention, there are some other companies out there which deserve some attention. One of the bigger ones is Impact Wrestling, which has been around for almost eighteen years now. Their weekly television show has been around for over fifteen years and now a network is seeing the value in the company.
AXS TV has announced a new weekly series called Impact In 60, which will feature various classic moments and matches over the course of Impact Wrestling’s history. The series will debut on June 2 with the Best of the Asylum Years. The hour long weekly series will air Tuesday nights at 10pm, following each week’s Impact Wrestling broadcast. Here are the subjects for the first batch of episodes:
June 2 – Best of the Asylum Years
June 9 – Jay Lethal and Christopher Daniels
June 16 – Kurt Angle and Austin Aries
June 23 – Aces and 8’s
June 30 – Mick Foley
There are some great moments in there. Check out some of what is to come:

Opinion: There are a lot of options available for such programming and that is a great thing. Impact Wrestling is a company that does not have the best reputation but they have more than enough awesome content to fill in a show like this for a long time. If there is an audience for this, they are smart to cash in and get paid for what they have to offer instead of letting it sit there.
