VIDEO: Former World Champion Returns On Monday Night Raw

Welcome back Owens. There are a lot of big names in wrestling and it is always great to see them show up. That being said, there is something extra special about seeing them show up after a long time away and that will always be the case. It is a case of absence making the heart growing fonder and that is what we have at the moment, including this week on Monday Night Raw.

WrestleMania 36 was not your traditional wrestling show but they made it work out well enough all things considered. The show featured two nights of big time matches with some major showdowns on both halves. That is the kind of thing you can milk for a good while, including having someone make an appearance after being gone since the show. We saw that this week.

This week on Monday Night Raw, Kevin Owens made his return to Monday Night Raw, marking his first appearance since WrestleMania. Owens appeared on his own Kevin Owens Show with guests Zelina Vega, Andrade, Angel Garza and Austin Theory. An argument led to a tag match with Apollo Crews joining Owens to defeat Garza and Andrade. There is no word on what is next for Owens.

Opinion: Owens is someone who can do a lot of good things for Monday Night Raw as the fans care about him and he can talk as well as go in the ring. That’s an excellent combination and something that could be very beneficial. I’m not sure what is next for him, but Owens is much better off when he’s part of a long form story. Hopefully WWE has one of those in mind for him soon.
