New Home Homecoming? Former AEW Star Returns To WWE Ring

Back at it. As the biggest wrestling promotion in the world, WWE has a lot of resources available to it that other promotions to not have. One of the biggest is the Performance Center, the company’s training facility in Orlando, Florida. The facility allows WWE stars to train in ways other promotions cannot offer and now a name that might surprise you was in the ring at the building.

According to both PWInsider.com and Fightful Select, former AEW star Brandi Rhodes wrestled a match during an in-house event at the WWE Performance Center. It is not known who Rhodes faced, but her most recent known match took place on January 26 in AEW. Rhodes is not known to be signed to a WWE deal at the moment and she is not listed anywhere on the NXT roster. There is no word on if she will be wrestling for NXT again.

Opinion: While I’m not sure I can see Rhodes signing with WWE or working a major match for them, I could see her appearing at some point. If nothing else, she would be the perfect fit for an emotional moment with Cody Rhodes if that is a possibility. Brandi is not exactly known for her abilities in the ring, but it could be worth something to have her appear in another capacity.
