This really didn’t go well. WWE is the biggest and most powerful wrestling promotion in the world and have their hands in all kinds of things. They do a little bit of everything everywhere and with that comes the chance for a lot of success. At the same time though there is of course the chance of a failure, which can be viewed differently by different people. In this case though, there is very little way to spin how badly one of their latest endeavors has gone.

On October 22, the WWE2K20 video game was released on the market. The game has been very poorly received so far with a long list of complaints. These include horrible glitches such as issues with the camera, characters not interacting with each other properly, created wrestlers malfunctioning, commentary not calling action properly and other problems. Another major complaint includes the looks of the wrestlers, which often do not resemble their real life counterparts.

In addition to the in-game problems, there was a major issue with the special editions. Fans on Twitter have complained that the Collector’s Edition of the game, at the price of about $130, which was supposed to feature an autographed plaque of either Kurt Angle, Rey Mysterio or Edge, but several of the plaques feature no autograph. However, Edge is doing something to solve the problem, saying on Twitter that when he is back home after filming a movie, he will set up a Post Office box so fans can send in their plaques and get them signed.

The glitches here are incredible. Check out some of these glitches (you won’t believe them until you see them):

Opinion: This is the kind of disaster that you would have to script to make it go so wrong. The game simply does not work and there is no way around it. There are so many problems that it is barely functional and that is the kind of thing that almost prevents it from being a game. Hopefully something can be done about this because a game this expensive is worth getting what you paid for. That should be the case no matter what you purchase, but something this non-functional is unacceptable under any circumstances.
