Ouch. There are a lot of injuries in the world of wrestling and some of them are more serious than others. You never know when you are going to see someone get hurt but what might be worse is wondering how long someone is going to be out of action. An injury can happen in the blink of an eye and that was the case during a recent match on Monday Night Raw.
It can help to have a veteran presence on any roster and WWE certainly seems to know this. The company regularly brings in several veteran wrestlers to help advance their younger stars, often to some rather successful results. There are a lot of ways to present something like this, but one of the veterans might not be around a bit due to a certain injury.
During her latest GAW podcast, Mickie James revealed that she suffered a broken nose during her most recent match. The injury will put her on the shelf for a few weeks, though it is not clear when her injury took place. James said that she was not in a lot of pain, with the injury feeling like a bad sinus headache. James’ most recent match came against Zelina Vega on on the September 21 edition of Monday Night Raw.
That’s never good. Check out the podcast and James’ most recent match:
Opinion: That’s a shame as James is someone who can offer a lot of good things to a lot of people on the roster. She has the credibility and the talent to make the situation work and if WWE can get her back in the ring, it will be quite the nice boost. Thankfully this is a broken nose and not something a lot more serious, meaning James should be back a lot sooner than later.
What do you think of James? What should she do when she gets back? Let us know in the comments below.
