Someone get a lawyer. There are very few wrestlers who can hit the ground running and become one of the biggest stars in the world in the blink of an eye. It does happen on occasion, though one of the quickest shortcuts is to be a big star before you come into the wrestling world. That was the case with Ronda Rousey, but now we might be in for a change which might not change much.

Back in 2018, Rousey debuted at the Royal Rumble and went on to become the biggest women’s wrestling star in history. This led to a legitimate historical moment as Rousey main evented WrestleMania 35 in a triple threat match along with Becky Lynch and Charlotte. She has not appeared for WWE since then though, and that might be the case again permanently in a few more months.

According to a statement given by WWE to TMZ last year, Rousey’s WWE contract expires on April 10, 2021. At the moment there is no word on Rousey returning to WWE television before her contract expires. There have been rumors of Rousey returning to the company on occasion since her last appearance but nothing has ever come to fruition. It is not clear if Rousey would ever want to wrestle anywhere else.

You might remember her. Check out Rousey’s time in wrestling:

Opinion: I’m not sure if I can imagine Rousey coming back to WWE at any point as she has very little left to accomplish. She came in for about fifteen months and then went out on top, which is about all you can ask for in something like this. Rousey was a natural in the ring and felt like the biggest star ever, but I’m not sure if I can ever imagine her getting back into wrestling. It’s not like she needs to, so maybe she is just going to go off into the sunset as only she can.
