Things might be thawing out a bit. One of the biggest stories since WrestleMania 35 has been the status of Sasha Banks. While she is one of the most popular stars in WWE today, Banks seemed to not be happy with her status in the company. Banks has not been seen since WrestleMania 35 and might not be back. However, things might be changing up a little bit.
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Banks met with Vince McMahon last Thursday. While the details of the meeting are not clear, the meeting went well and there is a stronger possibility that Banks could be back, possibly by this summer. There is no official word on when she would be back, or if she will be back at all. Banks’ last match with the company was at WrestleMania 35 when she and Bayley lost the Women’s Tag Team Titles.
Banks has had a long career. Check out her transformation from one step to another:
Opinion: I’m not sure if Banks is ever going to be back but it’s not like the division has been thriving without her. A Banks vs. Becky Lynch feud would be just fine and it would make a lot of sense to put her in a fairly high level program. That being said, keep her far, far away from Bayley. That story has been done to death and there is no reason to have them get in the ring with each other again.
