That’s not good. Injuries come in all different shapes and sizes in wrestling but they all have one question attached: how bad is it? The answer to that is going to determine just how long someone might be out of action and that can make all the difference in various plans. Now we know a bit more about an injury to a WWE star and things might be a bit serious.

This week on Monday Night Raw, the Judgment Day attacked Kevin Owens, resulting in him being diagnosed with fractured ribs. Following the show, reports surfaced saying that Owens’ injury was legitimate and not just part of a storyline. According to Wrestling Observer Radio, Owens has been injured for awhile and was working until his story could be wrapped up and he could take time to rest and heal. There is no word on how long Owens will be out of action or what will happen to the Tag Team Titles. Owens and Sami Zayn do not currently have any scheduled title defenses.

Opinion: This could make for an interesting situation, as the Tag Team Titles may very well be in jeopardy. The one silver lining in this whole thing could be that Owens and Zayn are in fact a team, meaning there could be ways to keep the reign going without having Owens do too much. What matters is getting Owens healthy, and if he can have some time off here and there, that healing could come a lot sooner.
