Speedy! Injuries are among the worst possible things in wrestling as you never know what one of them will mean. While a wrestler will be put on the shelf, the question becomes how long it is going to be before they are back. The recovery time can feel like it takes forever, but occasionally you will get some good news. Thankfully that is what we are getting again after a pretty horrible injury.

Back in March at Ring Of Honor Supercard Of Honor, Dante Martin suffered an injury to his leg/ankle when he was given a Canadian Destroyer off a ladder and through multiple tables. Martin has not wrestled or been seen since. Over the weekend at Death Before Dishonor, it was announced that Martin is still recovering from his injury. While no date was given for his return to the ring, Martin’s recovery was described as “ahead of schedule”.

Martin is a special star. Check out what he can do when he is around:

Opinion: That is certainly good to hear as you never want someone to be injured. Martin is someone who keeps showing all kinds of potential but there is only so much that can be done when he is injured so often. Maybe he needs to slow down what he does in the ring, but at the very least, it is nice to hear that he is on the way back. It might still be a long way off, but at least it is coming.

What do you think of Martin’s time in AEW? Is he better on his own or as part of Top Flight? Let us know in the comments below.
